    These are the hatchlings described/illustrated on the previous page now at an age of six weeks. The screen mesh is about 1 mm. square. Compare those illustrated below with Pomacea canaliculata hatchlings from an egg clutch deposited by a normally colored mother that was collected at another location in Duval County (St. Augustine Road Fish Management Area).
