Siphonochelus pavlova (Iredale, 1936)

This species was named to commemorate Anna Pavlova (1885-1931), the Russian dancer who was the world's prima ballerina during the era of the Great War and the Roaring Twenties.  The unique form of the shell recalls Pavlova's artistry.
