Triodopsis hopetonensis (Shuttleworth, 1852) hatchlings

    The illustrated snails are about twelve weeks old. In the image immediately below the top specimens measure 11.73 mm and 11.74 mm. and the bottom two specimens measure 12.4 mm and 12.62 mm.  

   Deposited by snail found under pine straw on bluff overlooking the Crooked River, Crooked River State Park, Camden County, Georgia. The snails were taken into captivity on 2/6/2016 but didn't deposit any ova until 10/2016. Digital images by Lori Schroeder.
