Pomacea canaliculata (Lamarck, 1822) Foraging On Ditch Bank |
| This unusually colored specimen was found on 1/1/2006 out of the water foraging on the ditch bank following the flood which stripped the waterway of nearly all its vegetation. Observations since that event indicate that probably only a minimal number of adult Pomacea survived. |
