Leucostigma candidescens (Rossmässler, 1836)

Leucostigma candidescens (Rossmässler, 1836) is, like the vast majority of its relatives in the Clausiliidae, normally sinistral. However, a dextral population exists in Avezzanno, Abruzzi Prov., Italy. This race has been named L. candidescens convertita (Flach, 1907).
