Panopea bitruncata (Conrad, 1872) Atlantic Geoduck

    Live, buried in muddy sand at a depth of about two feet, "Summerhaven River" near Summerhaven south of Matanzas Inlet, St. Johns County, Florida, July 3, 2020 (121 mm.). Collected and photographed by Paul Jones. An additional live specimen was found on a sand bar inside St. Augustine inlet by Paul on 5/27/2022.
