Fiery Skipper [Hylephila phyleus] |
| This tiny specimen was photographed while basking in the warm sun in a field in southeastern Duval County, Florida on 1/29/2007. Like the other Skippers, the species is wary and very difficult to approach for photography. However, in this particular instance it appears that the cold weather slowed the little guy down so that it could be easily approached for photography. |
