Freshly Deposited Pomacea diffusa Egg Clutch |

| This freshly deposited Pomacea diffusa egg clutch, measuring 65 mm. in length, was found attached to vegetation in the drainage ditch adjacent to the SAM's Club on 6/25/2009 and taken into captivity. Numerous other egg clutches were seen in the same general area attached to vertical vegetation. The egg clutch began hatching during the early morning of 7/6/2009 thus indicating that the egg clutch was approximately three days old when collected. | |
