Pictured below are the three Daedalochila species which can be found living along the International Golf Parkway (AKA Nine Mile Road) - Pacetti Road (AKA County Road 13A) corridor of western St. Johns County, Florida. Daedalochila avara has also been found along nearby thoroughfares but has not yet been recorded from the International Golf Parkway - Pacetti Road corridor, which runs cumulatively a distance of about 12 miles southwest from US-1  to County Road 208. Although Daedalochila auriculata has been found at four stations in the corridor, the two remaining species have thus far been found at only a single location. The St. Marks Pond Boulevard site on International Golf Parkway is the only location where two of the species (D. auriculata and D. uvulifera) share a common habitat.

The Daedalochila auriculata measures about 15 mm.
