Morum oniscus (Linnaeus, 1767) Sinistral

The is the only known sinistral specimen in the family Harpidae, including the fossil fauna.

    Dead taken on sand under a rock in 2-3 feet of water off west-central Eleuthera, Bahamas. Collected by Bobbi Cordy during May, 2008 (15 mm.). Digital images by Marlo Krisberg.
