Little Sulphur [Eurema lisa] |
This diminutive specimen was photographed in the back dunes area of Little Talbot Island State Park, Duval County, Florida on 12/8/2004. Like many of the smaller species, and especially the Sulphurs, they are very difficult to approach for photography. However, in the case of the illustrated specimen, the cooler fall weather apparently slowed down its movements somewhat. The specimen was feeding on wild flowers [Bidens pilosa - Hairy Beggarticks]. |
