Orthalicus floridensis Pilsbry, 1891 And Liguus fasciatus (Müller, 1774) Mating

    When discovered in Castello Hammock, south Miami-Dade Co., FL, the species were in the process of mating.

Disturbed by the camera flash, the species began withdrawing. 

The sexual organs both species are now plainly visible.

Liguus fasciatus lossmanicus Pilsbry, 1912
