Triplofusus giganteus (Kiener, 1840) and Cinctura hunteria (G. Perry, 1811) |
This juvenile Triplofusus giganteus (Kiener, 1840) [66 mm.] and Cinctura hunteria (G. Perry, 1811) seemed to have developed a somewhat close relationship during their time in captivity. However, the Fasciolaria didn't appear too thrilled with with the travel arrangements. Both specimens were found on the granite boulders of the south St. Johns River Jetty at Mayport Naval Station Beach, Jacksonville, Duval Co., Florida on January 19th, 2004. |
