Ventridens demissus (A. Binney, 1843) Perforate Dome

    Under board in vacant lot near the intersection of Spruce and Forest Streets, downtown Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida 4/11/2014. All specimens about 10 mm. The species is abundant at this location and shares the habitat with Triodopsis hopetonensis (Shuttleworth, 1852) Magnolia Threetooth which is also quite common.
