Pomacea canaliculata (Lamarck, 1822) Egg Clutches |
The Hatton Chase Pomacea canaliculata population is so large that virtually everything imaginable along the shoreline has been pressed into service as substrate for depositing egg clutches. Boats appear to be a especially attractive which no doubt seriously displeases lakeside homeowners. Photographed on May 18, 2006. |
