*Ceraunus Blue [Hemiargus ceranus]*
This tiny specimen, top row below, was photographed in low grass near a small lake in eastern Duval County, Florida on 10/1/2005. The rather drab ventral coloration provides little clue of the attractive bright lavender blue dorsal coloration which is almost completely hidden when the species folds its wings.
