Lower Pinecrest beds, Upper Tamiami Formation, Sarasota County, Florida. SEMs produced in collaboration with Dr. Ann Heatherington, Dept. Geological Sciences, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. This rather common fossil species is quite close to Caecum sp. A of Redfern (2013: 69), but it is consistently somewhat stouter and straighter.
