Bumble Bee [Bombus species] |
| This specimen was photographed in southeastern Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 3/11/2007 as it fed on a somewhat wilted Azalea flower. With the rapid disappearance of the Honey Bee (genus Apis) population in this area of the county over the past several years, there appears to have been a corresponding increase in the Bumble Bee population. |
