    Culled by H. G. Lee from 500 mL (2 cupfuls) unsieved grunge from within larger shells taken from a renourishment site on Phipps Ocean Park Beach, Palm Beach, Palm Beach Co., FL by Carole Marshall in April, 2021 (1.23 mm.). SEM performed by Dr. Lee under the supervision of Dr. Ann Heatherington, Dept. Geological Sciences, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.

Atlanta inclinata Souleyet, 1852 Inclined Atlanta

    Dredged in 100 ft., 32 mi. E. St. Augustine, Florida by Ted Yocius in 1981 (1.25 mm.). Scanning electron micrograph performed under the auspices of the Dept. of Invertebrates of the United States National Museum with the excellent technical assistance of Ms. Yolanda Villacampa.

   The above records appear to constitute the only reported occurrences in Florida waters; see Rosenberg (2009: <http://www.malacolog.org/search.php?nameid=3092>). The station off St. Augustine has been published (Lee, 2009: 84).
