Pomacea canaliculata At The Lake |
| While downstream from the spillway at the lake is usually not a particularly productive location, when the water level is low due to lack of precipitation the Pomacea tend to congregate on the horizontal concrete walls. The image presented below was taken during a visit on 9/20/2005 when a total of 24 specimens were present. The water level in the lake/retention pond can fluctuate as much as six feet over a very short period of time. |
