Pupoides albilabris (C. B. Adams, 1841) White-lip Dagger In Situ

    The image below shows a mixture of live Pupoides albilaris and Pupoides modicus (Gould, 1848) Island Dagger White-lip Dagger that were found sharing a single habitat at Sisters Creek Marina, Heckscher Drive, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 12/8/2008. The specimens measure about about 3.5 mm. and were all found beneath debris (dead palm fronds, small boards, small limbs, etc.). The light colored shell, image top left, is a Hawaiia minuscula (A. Binney, 1841) Minute Gem.
