Very Large Daedalochila auriculata From Station Three West Of Bass Haven Lane |
This 18.05 mm. Daedalochila auriculata was collected at Bass Haven Station Three (GPS: 29.55430N 081.34320W - WGS-84 Datum) 0.5 miles north northeast of Bass Haven Lane on 11/1/2012 and may be the largest Daedalochila auriculata ever recorded. It was found beneath a small log in the roadside swale. Pictured on the lower right is a specimen of Daedalochila avara (Say, 1818) Florida Liptooth which was also found beneath the log. |
