Daedalochila auriculata (Say, 1818) Ocala Liptooth Eggs

The pictured specimens were individually collected from under vegetation in the roadside swale along County Road 13 0.5 miles north northeast of Bass Haven Lane (GPS: 29.55430N 081.34320W - WGS-84 Datum) on 12/24 & 26/2009 and placed in a plastic container. (see: Bass Haven Lane Site #3). Some three days later the group was rechecked and nineteen apparent Daedalochila auriculata eggs were present in the container - two of which are visible in the image below. The eggs were also found during the same period in situ at another location where live D. auriculata were found  (Riverdale Park South of Tocoi, St. Johns County, Florida).
