Giant Swallowtail [Papilio cresphontes] |
| This Giant Swallowtail was photographed shortly after it emerged from the chrysalis affixed to a citrus tree in the webmaster's back yard in southeastern Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 8/26/2010. After about four hours of remaining in the same location drying and testing its wings, it was able to fly away. |
