Stenotrema turbinella (Clench and Archer, 1933) Little Turban Slitmouth

Stenotrema turbinella (Clench and Archer, 1933) Little Turban Slitmouth

Drift, Paint Rock River, Butler Mill, Marshall County, Alabama, 3/22/2019 (9.1 mm.). Collected by Bob Winters. This form  is squatter and less globose. From S. stenotrema it can be distinguished by the more inflexed parietal tooth and less broad, deeper interdenticular sinus. That species, as well as S. nudum, S. sp. cf. S. magnifumosum, and S. sp. cf. S. stenotrema as herein treated, all have more convex bases.
