Cochlicopa morseana (Doherty, 1878) Appalachian Pillar

    Hatched in captivity from eggs deposited by an adult specimen collected from wrack along  Harrison Creek, Harrison Fork Road, Nelson County, Kentucky, February 19, 2016. The largest specimen measures 6.2 mm. and the smaller 5.1 mm. The snails are 10-11 months old (top image) and 12 months old (bottom image), respectively. Digital images by Lori Schroeder.
