| Five Mesodon thyroidus were collected from a site in Clay County, Florida during late February/early March, 2010 and maintained in a makeshift terrarium. Sometime during the third week of March, one or more of the specimens deposited the eggs illustrated below. The eggs measure about 3.2 mm. |
