Mesodon thyroidus (Say, 1817) White-lip Globe Juvenile Up A Tree

    Up a tree about seven feet above ground on the south side of Joe Johns Road near the flood plain of Little Black Creek, County Road 220 0.2 miles NW of Knight Boxx Road, Clay County, Florida, 8/29/2021. The species routinely climbs trees. During this trip a total of nine Mesodon were found in trees. A total of 52 empty adult Mesodon shells were also found.
