Bulimulus sporadicus (d’Orbigny, 1835) Egg Clutch

The Bulimulus sporadicus egg clutch pictured above was one of two found beneath a discarded railroad tie along the Florida East Coast Railroad tracks near the intersection of Old St. Augustine Road and US-1 in Bayard, Duval County, Florida on 7/24/2018. Several adult Bulimulus, including one in the process of depositing an additional clutch, were also present. It's uncertain whether the pictured clutch was deposited by a single Bulimulus or was the work of multiple specimens.
