Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Predation On Polygyra septemvolva Say, 1818 |
This large pair were found mating in the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.3 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida on 12/13/2020. When picked up and examined closer, it was discovered that the larger of the two, which measured 71 mm., was apparently also in the process of devouring a Polygyra septemvolva.
