| The two specimens visible in the image were discovered crawling atop vegetation in the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.3 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 2/12/2021. Investigation revealed a third specimen was also present beneath the vegetation but not easily visible. The three were temporarily taken into captivity (image inset) and tagged with bright nail polish for further study. |
