Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail In Situ

     In vegetation, roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.3 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 12/6/2020 (64.9 mm.). The specimen was taken into captivity, brought home and placed in a makeshift terrarium with a much smaller specimen. The pair almost immediately commenced mating (see bottom image).
