The two snails pictured below are about five months old. They were hatched from eggs deposited in captivity on a piece of bark by the adult specimen pictured on the previous page. The parent and the bark were collected from "Kochi Hill," Bullitt Co., Kentucky. The two specimens pictured below apparently mated and deposited eggs which resulted in the hatching of at least 14 juveniles. Digital images by Lori Schroeder. |
