Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail In Situ

    Deep in vegetation, roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.3 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 2/12/2021. Upon initial examination it appeared that the smaller of the two specimens may have been the victim of cannibalism. However, the specimen was observed for 24 hours and proved to be alive and well.
