This juvenile Euglandina was found up a tree about three feet above ground in the flood plain of Little Black Creek on County Road 220 in Clay County, Florida on 11/11/2021 (top image). When removed from the tree for examination, a millipede was found to be sheltering underneath (middle/bottom images). Do to recent rains, the flood plain was inundated with water and all molluscan inhabitants were in trees well above ground.
