Partially buried in sand near the granite boulders of the south St. Johns River jetty, Mayport Naval Station Beach, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida 4/4/2011. The largest specimen measures 23.6 mm. Pictured in the image, center left, is a Epitonium humphreysii (Kiener, 1838). |
