Gold Colored Pomacea paludosa From The Lake |
| During a visit to the lake on 6/14/2015 this golden colored specimen (empty shell) was found on the lake shoreline. This is the second golden shell found at this location since the Pomacea population was discovered in 2006. Similar gold colored specimens have also been found in Lake City, Columbia County, Florida.
