Lake Near The Intersection Of Philips Highway (US-1) And Greenland Road, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida

      While exploring for terrestrial mollusks in southeastern Duval County on 6/5/2019, an apparent small Pomacea paludosa (Say, 1829) [Florida Applesnail] population was discovered in a lake near the intersection of Philips Highway (US-1) and Greenland Road. A few Pomacea egg clutches and at least one live specimen were seen on the lake dam structure.
