Phrikoceros mopsus Polyclad Flatworm

This flatworm (Order: Polycladida), about 50 mm. in length, was photographed in a tide pool by Joel Wooster at Matanzas Inlet, St. Johns County, Florida on 1/10/2009. Because of its appearance, the species is often mistaken for a nudibranch or sea slug.
