Banana [Musa sp.]
    This banana flower was photographed near the administration building on the campus of the Florida State College Jacksonville South Campus in southeastern Duval County, Florida on 5/13/2006. Although banana plants are not uncommonly seen in northeast Florida, they don't do well because of the cold winter temperatures.
