Common Green Darner [Anax junius] Mating

   These mating Green Darners were photographed along the shoreline of a lake in St. Marys, Camden County, Georgia on 11/15/2006. Almost immediately after the digital image was obtained the pair became spooked and quickly departed their lakeside perch.
