    The four specimens illustrated in the two images below were collected from a single location about 4.2 miles east of Picolata along Country Road 208 in far western St. Johns County, Florida. They are significantly darker in coloration than normal specimens. The two specimens illustrated in the bottom left image are the darkest colored Euglandina rosea found to date by this reporter.
