Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Predation On Daedalochila subclausa (Pilsbry, 1899) |
| On 8/20/2010 the 33 mm. living Euglandina rosea pictured below was collected from the Daedalochila subclausa habitat near the intersection of Imeson and Pritchard Roads in western Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. The Euglandina was subsequently dissected and its gut was found to contain a recently consumed adult Daedalochila subclausa which measured 7.1 mm. |
