Triodopsis species "Florida Scrub Threetooth"

Pictured above are but a small portion of the empty shells found in the Gladman Addition/Tract of Goldhead Branch State Park along State Road 21, Clay County, Florida on June 18, 2014. These shells would not normally have been visible/easily found because of dried vegetation/leaf litter present in the habitat. However, a recent prescribed burn of the habitat by park personnel made the shells quite easy to find.  Many of the shells seen didn't survive the burn intact.
