"Smoky Ghost Millipede" [Narceus gordanus (Chamberlin, 1943)] |
This specimen, measuring about three inches in length, was was photographed at Camp Blanding Training Center in Clay County, Florida on 4/9/2013. During a four day survey of the installation during April, dozens of identically colored specimens were observed. Originally (Chamberlin, 1943: 5; figs. 6-11) placed it in the genus Spirobolus. |
