Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail In Situ

    In the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.4 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida 2/28/2022. The specimen pictured in situ in the top image is pictured on the top right in the bottom image. The trio was collected from several locations in the swale and placed together in a pants pocket to be transported back to the car to be measured/tagged. While en route, the active specimen pictured on the bottom attacked but not killed the specimen pictured on the left.
