Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Predation On Polygyra septemvolva Say, 1818

This 66.6 mm. specimen was collected from the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida on 12/8/20198. It, and a 56.1 mm. specimen found at the same location, were subsequently dissected. The larger of the two was found to have two Polygyra septemvolva in its gut while the gut of the smaller specimen was totally empty.
