Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail In Situ

     Under vegetation near palm tree along Evergreen Avenue near the CSX Transportation Railroad tracks, downtown Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida 12/5/2020. Pictured as found with live Daedalochila auriculata (Say, 1818) Ocala Liptooth. This is believed to be the same Euglandina specimen found at this exact location on 11/29/2020 (see Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Rosy Wolfsnail In Situ). If so, the snail had moved less than one foot over a six day period but had aquired a potential prey snail not there six days earlier.
