Euglandina rosea (Férussac, 1821) Damaged Shell |
|
From the roadside swale on the west side of US-1 about 3.1 miles northwest of International Golf Parkway, St. Johns County, Florida, 12/2/2018. During the attack, presumably by a warm blooded mammal, the Euglandina lost a significant amount of shell and possibly sustained a fatal injury although the specimen appeared to be alive when found. |
