"Soapberry Bug" (Jadera haematoloma)

    The group illustrated below were photographed on a wooden privacy fence in southeastern Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida on 1/31/2010. The bugs were first observed on 1/18/2010 and were still present as of 3/28/2010 with many thousands of specimens present along the bottom of the fence.
